PRODUCTION MANAGER

Production ManagerMichael S.

Wow!  Production Manager is hard, but really awesome, fun, and its a great job.

There were a lot of things that I had to do to get this job.  First, I had to fill out an application.  In the application, I had to make a calendar, and Mrs. Fisher gave me a list of events to put on like the First Company Meeting, Set Designers finish sets, Performance, and lots more.  I had to put the events on the calendar in the order I thought was correct.  Another thing I had to do on the job application was write what Id do if someone wasnt doing his or her job.  After I filled out the application, Mrs. Fisher interviewed me.  My heart was beating as fast as a humming birds wings when I heard my name called to be interviewed.  In the interview, Mrs. Fisher asked me questions about my application and the job I wanted.

This is what Ive done in my job so far:  First, I got everybodys name, job, phone number, and street address and I made the class directory.  Also, I have worked with the writers and we wrote the dialogue for the opera.  It was fun but we had lots of homework.  I also ran meetings.  It was fun because I ran the meetings all by myself.

At the beginning of the opera, I will make a speech about how we created the opera and what our opera is about.
